The orange reflection in the comb's rhinestones is from my salmon colored phone case, not defects of any kind.

All jewelry I offer is previously owned unless marked NWT (New With Tags).  Age is determined to the best of my ability and used as a guideline only.  Items offered come from my own purchases collected over the years, including garage and estate sales, thrift store purchases, family and friends.
Vintage, according to most resale sites, means it must be at least 20 years old. My determination is based from various clasps, styles, colors, stock photos and Maker’s marks (Stamped, Hallmarked) or other “signatures” that help determine age on some pieces.
All measurements are approximations and are measured to the best of my ability for accuracy.
I spend time researching to provide as much detail as possible if I don’t already know the history.  Vintage and costume jewelry will sometimes have scuffs, scratches, wear marks, and loss of plating.  I carefully look over each piece to make sure all stones are present, clasps are in working order and watches will come packaged with a brand new battery and verified the watch is working.  I will usually point out any detrimental issues or take a close up photo of an area that could be of potential concern to you and I have priced my pieces accordingly, if applicable.
I have lightly cleaned all pieces or wiped off with a jewelry-safe cleaning cloth.  I replaced old yucky earring backs with new ones in many cases, if they were items I procured from a garage or estate sale.
