Scarce Vintage US Military Western Electric BC454B arc 5 ham radio CW Morse code

For auction is a vintage, US Military Western Electric BC-454-B (ARC5) radio with CW function(s). Item being sold as found and has not been cleaned, cleaning will be left to the winning bidder if they choose to do so. Item is from a smoke free home. Please see all pictures as they are part of this description. Item is in excellent overall condition, considering it's age. Item does show some areas with wear/age, but appears to have no major damage. Please note picture five which displays original US Military markings next to the original ID plate. Please also note the cleanliness of the inside of this radio as pictures three and four demonstrate. Item has not been opened up any further than what the pictures indicate. The front panel dial does move both ways correctly when the tuning knob is used. Please note the section for CW on the front panel; the switch there does also function correctly. No other testing was done. All tubes displayed in pictures were found inside this unit and are included as shown. (tubes untested) Please review all pictures as this item is being sold exactly as found for parts/repair only. These vintage US Military ARC 5 type radios are getting harder to find in decent condition, this item has much potential to make a great addition to your military radio station set up and/or related collection.
