DESCRIPTIONFOR SALE:
This is a very nice find. It is a WWII Army Signal Corps model BC-1335 tube radio receiver / transmitter.
The BC-1335 is an FM transceiver used in late World War 2, covering 27.0 through 38.9 MHz in 120 crystal-controlled steps. It is an improved successor to the similar BC-659 radio. The transceiver operates from either 6VDC or 12VDC, supplied from an external source such as a battery pack.
Other specs and manuals can be found on line. It appears to be unused surplus - in excellent cosmetic condition. It doesn't appear that this has ever put into service. There is some grease pencil writing on the face that would rub off easily. There is a date of July 45 stamped inside the case. It has a processing tag dated 1955. The original presetting instruction booklet is on the inside of the lid. I have no way of testing. Sold AS IS.
